Case Filed for Severely-Burned Mechanic

Posted By Arnold & Itkin || 19-Apr-2017

Arnold & Itkin is currently fighting on behalf of a young man who was electrocuted while working in a refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas. The 29-year-old young man suffered 2nd, 3rd, and 4th degree burns when he was helping a tank welder during a turnaround project at a Valero plant. His burns required multiple surgeries, and it is likely that he will suffer from the effects of his injuries for many years.

For context, a turnaround project is a project where a part of the refinery is shut down to allow for inspection, testing, revamping, updates, etc. We are confident that we will be able to discover what exactly caused his injuries, who was responsible, and how best to present his case before a jury. More importantly, we’re confident that we’ll be able to secure compensation for his medical treatment.

His case was filed in Nueces County, Texas. We look forward to helping him get what he needs.
