Suit Filed on Behalf of Borger Refinery Worker

Posted By Arnold & Itkin || 25-Feb-2014

Arnold & Itkin is proud to be representing a man who was injured at the Phillips 66 refinery in Borger Texas. Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, and another attorney from Arnold & Itkin filed suit on behalf of the plaintiff, who fell into an unmarked, unbarricaded, and unlit hole while surveying the site.

The hole contained burning liquid, which caused the plaintiff to suffer severe third degree burns to his entire lower body. When he fell in the hole, he was buried in the scalding liquid up to his waist.

The man has already undergone numerous procedures and continues to require medical attention. Arnold & Itkin previously handled a claim that arose from an incident at the same Borger refinery. We represented five plaintiffs who suffered injuries from a steam line explosion at the facility. We filed the case in Harris County District Court, which is still pending.

Client's portion of total recovery may be subject to Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement claims, Medicare/Medicaid liens or other third-party claims or liens. These verdicts and settlements are intended to be representative of cases handled by Arnold & Itkin, LLP. These listings are not a guarantee or prediction of the outcome of any other claims.
