Posted By Arnold & Itkin || 13-May-2015

Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, and Victoria Alford filed a lawsuit on behalf of a worker who had both of his legs amputated in a plant accident. The man, who is from Mississippi, was working as a contractor at the Exxon plant in Baton Rouge, Louisiana when a heavy cable lost tension and backed up inside the area where he was working. When the cable unexpectedly came back under tension, he was violently struck by the cable resulting in the amputation of both legs.

The injured worker has already undergone multiple surgeries and continues to require substantial medical treatment for the injuries he sustained. This incident will forever change the lives of this young man and his family.

The lawsuit was filed in Harris County and named Exxon and Siemens Corporation as defendants. The suit alleges claims for negligence, gross negligence, premises liability and product liability.
