Victims of Wednesday's Beauregard Parish Explosion Are Identified

Posted By Arnold & Itkin || 10-Feb-2017

Wednesday’s explosion in Beauregard Parish injured several workers and unfortunately took the lives of three. The investigative parties have since been able to identify the victims, relaying the information to Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Office, who released the identities in a public statement last night.

The explosion took the lives of the following men:

  • William Rolls, Jr., 32
  • Jody Gooch, 40
  • Sedrick Stallworth, 42

While little information about Stallworth has been brought forth, we know from the families of Rolls and Gooch how they enjoyed spending their time. Rolls was a deeply spiritual man who enjoyed pastimes such as motorcycle riding, playing pool, football, and spending time with his young daughter, who will sadly grow up without her father. Gooch was also beloved by his family, who tell reporters that Gooch was an avid arrowhead hunter and collector. These three men are survived by their loved one.

We hope that the families of these dedicated individuals find solace and closure in these trying times and we are thankful in knowing the families of the other injured workers will not suffer the same fate.
