Case Filed for Industrial Worker Crushed by Equipment

Posted By Arnold & Itkin LLP || 8-Oct-2018

Arnold & Itkin Attorneys Kurt Arnold, Kyle Findley, Kala Sellers, and Adam Lewis filed suit in Lavaca County, Texas on behalf of a young woman who sustained serious injuries in an industrial accident.

Our client had three of her fingers partially amputated in an industrial accident. Her accident was a result of Kaspar Companies, Inc. failing to provide their employees basic, yet critical, safety measures on equipment. Kaspar Companies also failed to provide adequate personal protective gear to employees. These failures caused their client’s hand to be caught in equipment crushing her fingers. Since the accident, she has suffered ongoing pain and difficulties due to her severe injuries, including having undergone four surgeries on her hand to date.

Industrial work is a dangerous way to make a living because of aging factories and poor safety policies. Companies have a legal obligation to mitigate the risks of industrial work through protective gear and adequate safety training. Arnold & Itkin is proud to represent our client to help her get the best medical care available. We hope to ensure that this never happens again to any worker on account of Kaspar Companies, Inc.

Client's portion of total recovery may be subject to Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement claims, Medicare/Medicaid liens or other third-party claims or liens. These verdicts and settlements are intended to be representative of cases handled by Arnold & Itkin, LLP. These listings are not a guarantee or prediction of the outcome of any other claims.
