Attorney Jacob Karam
Jacob Karam is a dedicated trial attorney who wholly dedicates himself
to getting his clients what they need. As the oldest of five siblings,
he learned from a young age what it meant to be an advocate for those in need.
As a young man, Jacob exercised his competitive spirit on the football
field. He was a three-time all-state quarterback and played at both Texas
Tech and the University of Memphis. Off the field, his community service
work was recognized by multiple philanthropic organizations. Despite setting
numerous records, he is most proud of being selected as the captain of
both teams in recognition of his leadership on and off the field.
Jacob played briefly with the Green Bay Packers, but shortly afterward
he enrolled at the University of Houston to begin his law career. Using
the tools he developed on the field, he once again stood out among his
classmates—they chose him to deliver their commencement speech at
graduation. While in school, he was a senior articles editor for the Houston
Journal of Health Law & Policy and was first exposed to the courtroom
environment while clerking for the Honorable Judge Caroline Baker. He
eventually graduated cum laude.
He first went to work for a prominent international law firm and practiced
white collar criminal defense, international arbitration, and commercial
litigation. However, he found his passion working for Arnold & Itkin,
where his journey came full circle back to his original calling: advocating
for those in need.
Jacob and his wife Donna live in Houston. He continues to play sports and
volunteer in his spare time. He also loves traveling and playing the piano
whenever he gets a chance. He is an active member of Our Lady of the Cedars
Maronite Catholic Church.
